In a unique combination this ornate platinum ring features a fine and vibrant example of how truly remarkable Mexican Fire Opals can be. This 8mm by 6mm specimen displays impressive color play with otherworldly flashes of neon green, lavender and hot pink within a field of tangerine orange. The shoulders of the ring are each set with three little diamonds which add the perfect amount of sparkle around the opal. The north and south faces of the platinum mounting were designed with heavy and delicate opposing scroll details and a pretty pattern of open work. The measurements are 10mm north to south and 12mm east to west measuring from the outside of the diamonds. The highest point of the gently curved surface of the opal sits approximately 8mm above your finger. The shank measures 2mm all the way to the base and has a series of hallmarks on the inside (Pt900 and 081 009). Currently a size 6-1/2 and sizable up or down upon request.
