This striking pair of antique earrings date to the late Victorian period, circa 1870 to 1890. Remarkably modern for their age and in beautiful condition they measure a substantial 2-1/4” long from the top of the wire to the lowest point of the pendant. The elongated oval enamel and rose cut diamond stars are dramatically domed with a stunning lace-like frame and an outer beaded border. The top and bottom of the pendants are finished off with additional etched flourishes that make a gorgeous pair of earrings just that much more special! They are unmarked but the pendants and the wires have tested as 14k gold.
