Incredibly rare and futuristic for its time this handmade sterling brooch features four 12mm claw-set rock crystal orbs and one 21mm half orb which is bezel set with a tiny hinge to open as a locket. So artistic and beautifully constructed I have no doubt it’s the only one to exist. Book worthy in every sense! Resting loosely inside the locket compartment is the original hand colored tin type of a young Victorian-era lady. Your own photo or memento can be put in her place easily. The brooch is sterling silver and measures 3-1/2” long and 1” wide at the center. The pin mechanism measures 2-5/8” from hinge to C catch and holds very securely.
