On Layaway...Incredible Old Mine Cut Diamond Navette Dinner Ring, 3.50 Carats, Circa 1890
This ring is currently on layaway.
Circa 1890 navette dinner ring featuring an unbelievable collection of old mine cut diamonds. Displaying all the wonderful characteristics of old mine cut diamonds, for example the facets on each of these stones are as unique as a fingerprint. In this particular ring some are more of a cushion cut, some are closer to round and two are pear shaped. Also some have a very high crown while others slightly lower. The colors also vary giving an artistic ombré appearance overall. The total diamond weight estimate is between 3.50ct and 4ct. The gold is 14k with a layer of silver on the very top. Each diamond is bead set and delineated with a delicate millegrain border. North to south measures 32mm and east to west at the widest point is 13mm. Currently a size 9-1/4 and sizable upon request. (Can go all the way down to a 5-1/2 if needed.) Hands down this is the most magnificent antique diamond ring I’ve ever had. No words can describe the utter brilliance of these stones. It’s truly mesmerizing!
