The craftsmanship of this bracelet is so impressive! Designed in the modernist style, it’s primary feature is a shadow box effect. The bracelet is comprised of two sterling silver layers: the lower darkened with a matte black oxidation and the upper polished bright and with several irregular openings cut out to reveal the dark shadowy surface below. The two layers merge seamlessly at the edges of the bracelet resulting in a beautifully constructed piece of jewelry. Inside the cuff near the edge is a hand scribed signature and “925 SS” mark. The name is unfortunately indecipherable but the fact that it is signed by the artist indicates that they must have been proud of their finished product. As they should be! The width of the cuff on center is 1-1/2”. It tapers gradually to the two ends which measure 1/2” wide. From inside the measurements are 2-1/16” across and approximately 2” high with the opening between the two ends measuring 1-1/8”. The best fit is on a wrist that measures between 6 and 6-3/4”.
