This mid century cocktail ring features a large, ethereal blue moonstone set in 14k yellow gold. It’s beautifully framed by two fanned out wings of deep blue genuine sapphires that enhance the natural color of the moonstone. North to south the ring measures 17mm and across the sapphires at the widest point the measurement is 22.5mm. The open gallery beneath the stones is very typical of 1950s and 60s cocktail rings. In this instance it allows plenty of light to filter in strengthening the aura of the moonstone. The measurement from your finger to the highest point is 9.5mm. The shank is marked 585 for 14k and currently it measures as a 6-1/2 on the mandrel. Sizing is available upon request.
