Exquisite Edwardian Diamond Ring
This diamond ring is beyond any words I could use to describe it. But I will try! The diamonds are Old European cuts and are expertly matched in color and clarity. They are colorless diamonds (estimated at E-F and VVS clarity) and in absolutely any lighting they sparkle and dazzle in the most magnificent way. Truly mesmerizing! They are pavé set, girdle to girdle, held with tiny beads of 18k white gold that are virtually invisible. In fact the stones are so white and so well matched that you can hardly discern one diamond from the next. The whole ring becomes one sensational surface of twinkling light! The gallery is an open network of 18k white gold prongs that extend upwards to hold the halo of 14 diamonds that surround the three center stones. The center diamond is estimated at approximately .35ct, the two on either side are estimated at approximately .25ct each while the halo totals approximately .85ct. Overall the total diamond weight estimate is nearly 1.75ct. The balance of the ring is a simple 18k yellow gold shank that measures a 6-1/2 on the mandrel. Sizing up or down is available upon request.
